Who we are

Elvarendritop is an independent review site about indie games, run by a small team. It grew out of a shared notebook of scores and playtimes — the habit of finishing games properly and arguing about them afterwards. What started as notes between friends became a public archive with one rule: every game is finished before it is scored.

How the desk works

We publish slowly on purpose: six games since May 2026, and not one of them rushed. Each review is based on a finished main path, with playtime printed next to the score. Review copies are accepted, always disclosed, and have never changed a verdict. Editorial decisions are made in-house, and no developer, publisher or storefront has ever seen a draft before publication.

Editorial policy

• Finished main path before scoring; early access is reviewed only at 1.0.
• Scores cap at 9.5; flaws are named, not waved at.
• Corrections are logged at the bottom of the affected review with a date.
• Games we would not recommend are simply not covered — this is a curated archive, not a release feed.
• Cover art is original and made in-house; we do not use press kits.

The name

The name is our promise: we take small games all the way to the top — the top of their skill curve, their story, their design. The ones worth returning to get a permanent place here.
